He sleeps under his rock hide during the day. My tank is big enough that I have water bowls on both sides, he always drinks from the cool side which I have placed on a rack so he can climb up to drink.
Also trying out a knit hide I made, he uses it t climb down sometimes, and it helps with humidity.
