That's a neat clip of the girl kissing a ( presumably dangerous) snake ... I'm sure I saw something similar a few days ago that 'suggested' that snakes can only lunge downwards and that's why these people approach / touch/ kiss them from above ?!?!

Omg, that belief is so false by anyone who owns a snake or has seen a video. LOL

i'm on mobile but can i vote for Coffee Bean?? i'm biased LOL

and i've thought all the same things about Ax as the rest of you hahaha. i couldn't imagine us without the Ax threads. they're like forum ice breakers!

I probably explained it poorly .... They can't strike "upwards" was maybe a more accurate version of what was suggested - also presumed it referred to the snake type in the clip maybe not all snakes !?!?

Yeah I've heard that myth quite a bit.
A cobra wants to warn you off so it raises itself up (usually near eye level if it can) and flares the hood. If it is going to strike, it'll *want* to strike out in front of itself.
However, they can tilt and strike up. They may end up falling over because of they way they position, flatten out and raise up, but yes, they can strike up. (they also don't have to be raised up and flared out to strike)

Well if we are talking about snakes (ball pythons) my favorite cinnamon is a Butter Fire Yellowbelly Cinnamon.
