Adam, you said you like your Leucistics to be all white... are the Fireball/Black Eyed Leucistics not all white? I know the Mojave and Phantom lines aren't pure white, and I know the Platinum line IS pure white. How would you describe the Fireball line?

The two fireball lucy's that I have seen in person both have various sized orange "blotches" randomly on their bodies. I have also seen pictures of fireball lucy's or lucy (not sure if it was all one animal or several) in England that have the orange blotches as well as black "specs" around the orange blotches.

At this point it is unclear to me whether or not a fireball lucy can be produced that is solid white, but even if the orange blotches appear in random offspring, personally I would be uncomfortable spending that kind of money on the hets and not knowing if I'd actually be able to produce a solid white snake???

I know that the founder of the black eyed lucy's (Eric Davies aka HerpQuest) occasionally reads and posts on here and he would certainly be able the complete scoop on the project.

Oh, the orange blotches... I remember seeing those on the Leucistic that Rick Page hatched (on display on VPI's page).

Good to know that about the Fireballs.
