Awesome job! I guess you ended up going with material incubation? Did you have any problems?
To be honest not as much as I thought I did. I worried about so many things but the eggs were fine. Like i checked tempa vitrtually every day as well as add water to the substrate. I also candled like every two days to see if anything died but they always had veins. I think one egg got wet somehow during incubation but it went to term and is doing alive and well right now. The mother also abandoned the clutch after we cut the eggs (which we know we arent supposed to do with maternal but we were excited) so the eggs are now in a really really quicj incubator set up.
Another thing that is lf interest is that the mother did not eat during the 60 days. We tried offering but she didn't want but she ate two small asfs last night after the eggs were taken away and her tub cleaned so she's on the road to recovery. I'm giving her the year off for sure.
