Man... super nice looking hides but I don't think I could bring myself to drop that much $ on a hide haha! Thanks for the links though. Never been to that site before. Maybe I'll start saving and spoil my ball python with one of those someday. He'd certainly use it, unlike the retic that would probably just lay next to it or on top of it

Nice, you've got some serious money tied up in those habitats including the hides. Your snakes are spoile.

I got the lights off of eBay but that is the placement for how AP installs them. I just had them cut the channel for the LED strip and then used my own lights because I wanted the option to change colors. They'll cut the channel for $10 and then you can use any 8mm wide LED strip that you'd like. I'm quite happy with them.

Thats cool.. I just got off the phone with her and she said $40 for white/red or blue... Can I ask what you paid on ebay and if you found the correct length strip for the milled channel?

I believe I paid maybe $15 for a 16' long waterproof strip. You can just cut them to the length you need with a scissors, they're marked along the strip where to cut them. The size that fits the AP channel is 3528 LEDs. That number just refers to the size of the actual light chips in the strip (3.5mm x 2.8mm) they fit in the AP channel like a glove. There's connections on both ends of the strip so you can get lights for two cages out of one strip but you would need to get a second power source, connection pins, and transformer. Way cheaper than APs lights and they're color changing and remote controlled too.

I wish they had a daytime pics with different angles so I can decide what Door to go with. The computer-generated pics online are terrible for their website. Is there a reason as far as cleaning access is concerned maybe one style is better than the other? sliding/hinge?

I know it's all unnecessary, but I say waterfall! :P A nice background and a waterfall would make this tank look killer!

Not a BP but one of my best set ups so far! Upgrading her to a larger size tote, also with a water feature!
