So I've officially gone through with LASIK. I kind of jinxed myself because I was talking about a day or two prior what if the power went out, then on the way there I was telling that to my mom as well. Well low and behold we had a bad storm roll through the area and when we got to the LASIK place, they had no power. I literally almost left saying here was my sign. I stuck it out though, and about an hour later they got power back on. When they were dark I asked what happens if the power goes out during a procedure and the lady said they have a generator to run the machine to finish the procedure. So I was okay.

Anyways I guess around 1 or so I had it all done, it was definitely an experience and I'm definitely glad I got it. I have 20/20 in my left eye and 20/30 in my right eye, overall I have 20/20 though and that was less than 24 hours post op. The doctor was saying over the next few days up to a month or so I could see slight fluctuations. I'm just hoping for 20/20 in both eyes, but if I can get 20/15 I'll be happy as well.

Wait till you poke yourself in the eye a couple times when you habitually try to push up your glasses.

LOL, believe it or not I haven't worn glasses in roughly two years. Instead I would put contacts in then forget about them until a month or two later when my eyes began to irritate me. I only had glasses on for the last week and a half because they wanted me out of contacts before the surgery because the first time I went and had contacts in that long I was barely on the line for LASIK, then I explained I was not doing PRK.
