I'd recommend just exposing yourself to as many photos as possible until your eye catches on a bit more. Here's a couple Leos we have over here.

for a single gene Leopard? IMO busy, connecting patterns. it seems to be what peeps prefer when buying one. also a bright pattern on a dark background.

I should have sold those online or kept them. That female Leopard and male Pastel Leopard are 50% possible het Pied Clown. And not pictured here because she went fast was a neat, really reduced pattern Leopard female who I'm now almost certain was het pied.

Would this little guy qualify as a Leopard? The seller is a smaller breeder, who seems to be straightforward and honest (I checked BOI). I ask because I'm only two months into my BP addiction. Additional genetic question: If both of his parents are het pied, and there were visual pieds in his clutch, would that make him 66% poss het pied?

Yes, that's definitely a Leopard. Yes a hetxhet pairing would make him 66% het Piebald. And there's never any guarantees, but I'd say based on what I can see of his pattern there's a decent chance he is.
