Keep in mind this is ultimately a free forum that's provided as a service to us that are passionate about the hobby.

2nd this is the interwebs and tone can't be assumed by the text on your screen. Deborah is very knowledgable and doesn't want to see you get burned if down the road this is a project

You have to take into account a lot of us have money, time and a lot of passion tied up in this hobby.

i appreciate the ones who were respectful and answered my questions. Like most of you said there are alot of experienced collectors on here, as i am new to most morphs i have confusion on some that look similar to one anther, thats why i asked. Is it that big of a deal i want to buy from craigslist and take precautions to see if i can validate the gene? Im aware of the risks. Im also aware ill probably take care of it better than most who will buy from craiglist. Reptiles by Mack my ball had mites, NERD refused to give me any kind of paperwork on feedings or sheds and even genetics. So from my experience its just rolling the dice. I really love all the knowledge on here, but usually good practice is that if you do have advice on what would be a better option to take you should suggest it, not tell me. Would it have been so difficult for deb to say "Hey that looks like a Butter Ghost, but you never know for sure buying on craigslist and i recommend going through a reputable breeder" I would have not taken offense by that and would have thanked her. Instead she wanted to give me a snarky response. My experience on this forum unfortunately has been the latter. Again thank you all who actually were polite and tried to be helpful. Ill be open minded and try not to let a few ruin an informative forum.

If you pick it up cool. But maybe put an ad up ISO for local hobbiest/breeder to help identify it better for you.
