    No problem .. I think allot of the fallacies associated with popping or probeing snakes stem from some one talking about a more delicate species and carry it over as a generalization.. information on the web is almost like gossip .. the story is totally different by the time it comes full circle.
    I just thought it important to note.. that there are some that should not be sexed as hatchlings as the thread had taken a general direction :)

    What else other than GTPs? How about baby colubrids? That's what I was thinking of people injuring.. they seem so fragile.

    I only have first hand experience with the green tree pythons .. most colubrids are pretty tough, I would imagine allot of arboreal viper species are probably pretty fragile weighing in at only a few grams at birth and only able to take pinkie parts as first meals
