    Nobody confused anything. Those are indeed Lesser and not pastel. Unless the wrong picture got posted, or somehow The camera altered the color and pattern of the snakes. If the OP isn't leaving out something then one of the parents must be carrying the gene with Very low expression. I have hatched out lessers & pastels.

    Can you find out if either of the parents of this clutch had a lesser for a parent. It has happened in the past that chimeric animals (and even humans!) will have ovaries/testes that contain different genetics than are visible in that particular individual, and thus throw offspring that they technically 'shouldn't be able to'.

    I doubt the guy I got them from will remember from years ago, but that is definitely something I will check into :)

    Yeah they are all pretty crazy..they don't ball up at all. Not even when I want them to lol.

    the striped snake on your last picture is the craziest of all in that pretty mess. i see 2 bees. 2 lesserbees. 1lesser. and that last snake the head in the middle on the last picture that could be a weird lesser. I m also thinking your pastel is a chimera: pastel/ butter but the weird lesser need a evolution checking!!!
