    Survey:
    1) Do you identify as a nontraditional pet owner, traditional pet owner, both, or neither?

    Both

    2) Do you consider your pet (traditional or non) part of the family?

Some I do, some I don't. The dog and cat are members of the family, the geckos are more of a look but don't touch type of pet. Similar to Tropical fish. The snakes are somewhere in the middle.

    3) Do you think a nontraditional pet adds value to your life like a traditional pet would/does?

    Absolutely

    4) In 20 words or less, what is the most important thing when choosing a nontraditional pet?

How fascinating I find it's care and maintenance to be and whether or not I can keep it healthy, well fed, and content. I like to surround myself with living things. From Dogs and cats, to snakes, to geckos and dart frogs, insects and even plants. They all have their niches in my personal environment. (sorry, that was more then 20 words)

    5) On a scale of 1-5, 1 being very little and 5 being very much, how important is keeping nontraditional pets to you?
