Re: Yurlunggur, aka Bruce (picture-heavy)
Bruce shed yesterday, but we didn't check it for eye caps, etc., as he managed to poop in it as he shed. [emoji39] Oh well, it made cleanup easy, and I'll check him this evening when I have him out for weighing.

Bruce is always photogenic, and earlier this week he was ignoring me enough to get some good close-up shots. Usually he tries to investigate, so I end up with blurry shot of his nose filling the frame.

The "Thanks" button is at the bottom of each post.
Folks use it not only to thank, but to agree/Amen and like as well.

Bruce wanted to know what was up while I was taking pictures of Yingarna this morning.

And last night I discovered that this thread had made The Reptile Report on Feb. 10th. Yay Bruce!

Poor Bruce is having a bad shed - patchy, flaking, a total mess. Despite two rounds of snake sauna last night, his head and neck still hadn't shed, so I'll give him another sauna tonight if needed.
But he was such a good boy about it - it seemed like he knew we were trying to help, and when my husband was putting him back in his enclosure, Bruce was all "Noooo! Want to stay out and rub my chin on you!" [emoji4]
I suspect the problem is/was the weather getting cool, the house heat not on until last night, and so his RHP was working hard and drying things out more than usual. We put a nice wet towel on the shelf under his RHP, which should stay warm there, raise the humidity, and give him another rough-ish thing to work with.
