Doesn't look like a pastel to me either. Definitely something worth proving out though; I like its looks better than most pastels personally, since I prefer a sharp contrasting pattern to a faded one. Who knows, if you're lucky maybe it's a high lemon like the ones Vin Russo made a blue eyed leucistic with :P But until proven otherwise, it's just a really nice normal.

Not a pastel by "conventional definition" but certainly worth breeding out. That's a gorgeous snake!

thanks for the comments guys, I also asked on here as I did not believe it was a pastel but I feel it is more than a high gold, it has the faded 3rd eye area plus very blushed neck region otherwise it is a def high contrast with little to no white on the upper body!

As it is cf you never know whats in the mix, but if it does prove out to be a high gold then i am very happy cos the snake to me is priceless! if it turns out to be more then i will feel just the same unless I see lucy's in the future!! LOL

Then i will marry the snake LOL

And the black should appear faded almost like its hypo - the pictured animals saddles look to be a very bright stunning black, which is uncommon with Pastel Jungle. NERD lemon pastels generally have a very stunning black color to them, but they are a much brighter lemon yellow than the pictured animal.

lol, That's exactly what I thought when I first read this topic a few days ago. I didn't want to reply incase I started some debate or something. But when I seen it, I didn't see most of the characteristics in a pastel like you mentioned. First thing I said was "Probably not pastel....but a real nice high gold!".

Either way, it's a gorgeous snake you have there. :)
