So the last member of 2015 Clutch 1 has crawled out of the egg. He or she just didn't want to leave the comfort of the egg.
Here is 2015 Clutch 1 all out of the egg. I think it is 3 normals, 1 Pastel (maybe a Pastel Calico, just not sure right now), 1 Calico, 2 Mojave Calicos, and 1 Pastel Mojave Calico.

Here is the 2015 Clutch 1 Calico 1. I think he or she is going to have some real good whites.

Here is the 2015 Clutch 1 Mojave Calico 1. At first I wasn't too sure about him or her having the Calico gene, but once he or she came out of the egg, I could see all of the distorted alien heads and I thing her or she is a Mojave Calico.

Well, we got lucky, 2 Mojave Calicos in the the first clutch. This is 2015 Clutch 1 Mojave Calico 2. Again, in the egg I wasn't too sure, but now that he or she is out and I can see the distorted alien heads, I think we got a second Mojave Calico.

Well, these had the same odds as a Pastel Mojave Calico, so here are 3 normals.

Here is one that I am going to call 2015 Clutch 1 Pastel 1 for now. He or she may be a Pastel Calico, but I am just not sure. The 4 Pastel Calicos from last year stood out a bit more, but almost a year into their lives, they are just now starting to develop their whites. I really don't want to wait that long again. What do you guys think?

Here is the gem of the clutch, 2015 Clutch 1 Pastel Mojave Calico 1. Just look at him or her!

It's going to be fun to watch the whites develop on these guys. Let me know what you think of 2015 Clutch 1.

Thanks guys. It will be cool to see what colors really develop and where the white stays.
Checked on 2015 Clutch 2 earlier this morning and saw one cool looking snake starting to come out.

Well, 2015 Clutch 2 started off with 6 eggs, about midway through incubation, we lost 3 eggs, but finding an egg with twins in it was a cool surprise. We think that one is a Mystic Sterling, while the other is a Super Pastel or Super Pastel Congo.
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...s_in_egg_1.jpg
And the first to escape his or her egg from 2015 Clutch 2 is a Super Pastel possible Super Pastel Congo. This one just happened to be a twin with the Mystic Sterling.
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file..._first_out.jpg
The Mystic Sterling (bottom right) came out just a few minutes later. The middle egg looks to be a Pastel Mystic, and the top egg is at least a Pastel, maybe a Pastel Congo.

Here is the Mystic Sterling from 2015 Clutch 2 in the egg after the Super Pastel (or Super Pastel Congo) left the egg.

And here is the Mystic Sterling from 2015 Clutch 2 escaping the egg. You can see how the Mystic gene has influenced the Sterling pattern by connecting and smearing the alien heads.

Here is 2015 Clutch 2's Mystic Sterling. I love how the alien heads are connected on the first half of his or her body.

Here is another shot of the Mystic Sterling from 2015 Clutch 2.

Here is 2015 Clutch 2's Super Pastel or Super Pastel Congo. The head is really cool!

Got some fun pictures and a little bit of sad news. First up, the fun stuff:
2015 Clutch 1 has shed and here are some pictures:
Here is a post shed picture of 2015 Clutch 1 female normal 1.

Here is a post shed picture of 2015 Clutch 1 female normal 3.

Here is a post shed picture of 2015 Clutch 1 female Pastel Question. We think she is just a Pastel, but there are some signs that she might have the Calico gene (mainly the color in the bottom half of the alien heads). Right now we are being conservative and saying just a Pastel, but we'll give her some time to grow and show what she really is.

Here is a post shed picture of 2015 Clutch 1 female Mojave Calico. I really think this is a Mojave Calico because of the way the alien heads are distorted and smeared at the tail. We'll give her some time to grow to see if she is indeed a Mojave Calico.

Here is a post shed picture of 2015 Clutch 1 female Pastel Mojave Calico.

Here is a post shed picture of 2015 Clutch 1 male Calico. He is going to be a really high white Calico!

And a little bit of an update on 2012 Clutch 2. All of them came out of the egg by Sunday night and we were able to get these pictures:
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file..._all_out_1.jpg
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file..._all_out_2.jpg
Here is what we think to be at least a Super Pastel and a Pastel. We are not sure if either, or both, got the Congo gene. The Congo gene can be real subtle on its own or in some combinations, and then really pop out in other combinations like the Congo Fire. We'll have to give these two some time to see what develops.
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...l_question.jpg
Here is a shot of the 2 with the Mystic gene, a Mystic Sterling and what we think was a Super Pastel Mystic (more to follow about this one in the next picture)
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...c_sterling.jpg
Here is an individual shot of the last one to crawl out. It was at least a Super Pastel Mystic. We were able to get this picture Sunday night. Unfortunately, we went to check no all the snakes Monday night, and found that this one's body cavity had ruptured. There was a lot of blood and soft tissue that had come out of the rupture (right where the umbilical chord was healing shut). There was the large cartilage mass half protruding from the opening. We were able to remove the mass, irrigate the open wound, and close the open wound. We put this little one back in its own tub, and for a couple of days, it looked like it might be coming around, but unfortunately, when we went to check on it last night, it had died. This is the unfortunate part of the hobby.

Thanks for following our season!

Well, here is one for bad looking eggs. 2015 Clutch 3 was a bunch of slugs and four really ugly looking eggs. One of those eggs did die, but after a fun day with some of our extended family, my wife suggested we check on the eggs in this clutch. It was two days before I was expecting anything, so I thought it was going to be a waste of time, but my wife was right. We saw a nose poking out of one of the eggs. It is at least a Jigsaw, maybe more. So we cut the other two eggs and both of them have a live hatchling in them. One is at least a Mojave and the other is at least a Jigsaw. I'll post some more pictures once they are out of the eggs, but here is what we saw.

Wow. that Mystic Sterling looks great but I love the head of that "normal" Pastel and his crazy body pattern

Re: Slowcountry Balls 2015 Clutches
Here is 2015 Clutch 3 all in the egg, the egg in the middle pipped on its own, and then we cut open all of them. It looks like 2 that are at least Jigsaws, maybe more, and one that is at least a Mojave, maybe a Melanistic Mojave. I'll post more pictures after they shed.

Thanks. I think you'll enjoy these post shed pictures.
Here is 2015 Clutch 2 after their first shed.

Here is 2015 Clutch 2 female (I think, she is so small, that I was afraid of hurting her when trying to pop her) Mystic Sterling.

2013 Clutch 2 female Super Pastel Question, again, she is so small that I was afraid of hurting her, so I will resex her after she has grown some. I am not sure if she is only a Super Pastel, or if she also got the Congo gene.

2015 Clutch 2 male Pastel Question. Just wondering if he is a great Pastel, or if he got the Congo gene.

Hope you guys enjoy the pictures!
