Good to hear that you got the dimmer working again. :)

Cornelsworld sells both Herpstat thermostats (http://cornelsworld.com/product-category/thermostats/) and thermometers (http://cornelsworld.com/product-cate...perature-guns/).

Well its good that you got it cleared up. I would still watch close as with all the whacked out temps you have had, I am literally surprised that his RI cleared up by itself like that. Your thermometers have to be off. I mean you are using a 150 watt CHE in what size tank in what temp room? I mean I use a 100 watt CHE in both my 40 gallon breeders in a 75F room and I have them both dimmed down halfway to achieve 87F hot side and 82F cool side. I don't use any insulation, I just use the cardboard covered in tin foil over the whole screen top with a 1" bigger hole than the dome size cut into it on 1 side. And I don't even use UTHs. I'm not in Canada but I just use the acurite thermometers with the probe wire on all my cages and when compared to my temp gun, the thermometers are only about 1F higher in temp so not too far off. They are only like $12 here and can measure warm side, cool side and give you an idea of humidity. Best of all, they are cheap and if they poop out, just throw em away and buy a new one.

After a lot of comparing the digital thermometer to my other thermometers, I found that it was 10 degrees off. So the ambient temp is actually around 80. I kinda figured something wasn't right, I mean I have a CHE, a heat pad, covered top, foam back, and to put my hand In the cage feels warm.

On a side note, where can I get F10sc in Canada?

I suggest you purchase a new digital thermometer to be sure. Temp guns do not measure ambient temp and analog are generally not reliable.

I use the acurite thermo/hygro combo. It's about $12 on Amazon. It measures two temps plus the humidity. I keep about 2 in stock at all times so when one craps out I have another. I had one last me about 5 years.
