    Well, cut the eggs today, 2 cinnys and 2 normals.... lol I was hoping to get some confirmation on them being het lav, since I got them from a friend who didn't produce them himself, though he seemed pretty confident in it. Given there was only a 1/4 chance for each egg of a lav, I also had a 1/4 chance at a super cinny, which I missed on also. So guess I will be selling these as normals and cinnys and try again next year. Gotta have some bad odds to appreciate the good ones. Thanks for all the cheers.

    I agree, on the statement that these hatchlings are healthy. Now aren't they het for lavender also??? Even though the parents didn't prove out this time doesn't mean they wont next time. Correct? Good luck either way and congrats! :gj:

    if the parents are hets then the babies would be 66% pos hets, but without verification im not comfortable selling as pos hets. I haven't lost faith yet tho and will repeat the pairing next year.
