    Man I logged on to be there and everything but it won't let me download the necessary plug-in, I am using Mozilla Firefox, could that be the problem?

    Could be .. i dont have that problem. Do you have java installed for it?

    yeah that's my bad - total brain cramp there. forgot that I was on my laptop (just built it from old broken latitudes... sporting a mighty 300mhz processor and an equally sad amount of ram and hardrive space (8gig I believe?) so I just realized after I posted that I had forgotten to install java now I just need to wait for the applets to load haha.     nevermind again the wonderful help page told me what to do now to use my AIM to search for a proxy that won't shut down the certificate

    yeah I said always trust content and I've tried to cofigure my proxy to two different ports 25 and 80 but neither seem to work. I'm at work right now so i'm not sure which ports would be my best bet.
