That periscoping is cool!!!! I love how his tongue looks like he has at least a couple.

Actually my pastel pied that I recently acquired was on live small rats with the previous owner. He has been on quarantine for the past three weeks and I thought it was time to try and feed him. I waited until 3am and went to offer him a f/t medium rat and did "the dance" ifo his hide and WHAM...he took it . So, yeah I know that good feeling you are feeling with KL. Good luck. :)

It's funny because now instead of giving me the hungry face and then attacking viciously, he now just cruises until I bring him a rat and he just rubs up against it and smells it until he takes it gently and coils 😁

I guess approaching 500 grams and he thinks he's a big boy

Now that he's out of shed he's much more social. He starting to become easier to handle than when I first got him and since he looked hungry I offered him a second rat this week. Looks like we'll be upping feedings to 5 days from now on. He's chomping on that rat as we speak 😊

First time outside. Approaching 600g he didn't like the grass so much but he did live the trees lol

He's calming down so much and loves being handled by my 5 year old sister. Now that he's getting so tame I think I want to pick up some more lol.

These are all pictures over the last 2 weeks or so. He's been upset since I switched him to a tub in preparation for moving cross country lol so he climbs out every chance he gets!
