    Personally, I think that if it doesn't have blue/green eyes, then it is not a pastel.

    Actually... I was looking around for pictures of pastel pieds (sale ads, blogs, etc), and they mostly had green eyes that I could see, just a shade darker than normal pastels, so it was actually a little harder to see in some of the snakes unless the lighting was right. There were a few on sale listings where the eyes were very dark and I could not determine if they were actually green or not! So, I'm curious if there's anyone here who has experience with pastel pieds, either owning or breeding -- do all pastel pieds have green eyes, just like pastels have green eyes?


    Edited to add: Here's a blog post from someone who hatched a clutch of pastel pieds and one normal pied. All of the pastel pieds, including the sire of the clutch (pastel pied), has green eyes.

    i want a pied :( I think they are super cool. I don't know anything about how to tell morphs apart thought. sorry.

    I think you're on the right track. They look like a regular and pastel pied to me. With her size, her color is nice and light. Ive seen a lot of variance in pastel pieds, but yours look bright enough. Very pretty animals either way.
