If I'm not mistaken I think the herpstat 4 monitors temp and humidity.and come with a couple probes to be place where needed. If anyone can confirm that would be cool. lol.

Using a herpstat 2. 1 for flex, 1 for a RHP. Did not purchase the humidity probe for herpstat but it is an option. Temps looking good, 88-91 hot, 77-79 cool. Humidity seems to be hovering @ 55-60 with a couple mists a day with a cheap analog hydrometer. Picked up a digital acurite today and will get that installed similar to the early post with pics on this thread.

My girl seems so cramped in her 24x18 glass cage. Can't wait to get everything set up and move her to the T10. Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Any more thoughts are welcome.

I did when I first started. Now, except for last year's MI, I don't--not with a gauge. The snakes tell me everything about humidity I need to know.

For temps . . . Herpstat. I double check the in-cage/tub temps with a temp gun. For a few of the actual cages I have, I run Taylor digital thermometers. Also, I use a Taylor with my incubator. I really like them.

She's my first. Hopefully more will follow. Had her 8 months now and I admit that I over think everything that goes into making sure her set up is perfect. Still learning and these forums are awesome for helpful suggestions.

Gotcha. Well, this is what I used with my MI cage, and it seemed very accurate--both for RH and temp:
    http://www.amazon.com/Cooper-Atkins-...er+thermometer

Pro: It takes humidity at the probe, so the body of the thermometer can sit outside the cage (where it won't be subject to being snaked.)
Con: The probe is too large to really be used in the warm side hide. . . . Although it would be okay for ambient readings.

It's the only device with a hygrometer in the probe I've ever used, so kinda by default, it's the only one I can recommend :)
