Wish I'd seen this earlier, but I want to add for anyone else who may have a similar issue. Last year, I was checking on my clutches before going out of town for the weekend. What I didn't realize at the time, is that the door caught the cord, and unplugged it to my incubator.
I came back and realized that the incubator had been off for 2 full days and my heart sank. All I could do was plug it back up and pray for the best - and there were three clutches at various stages of development from early on, to middle of incubation to late incubation. And the temps inside the incubator were in the 70's.
All three clutches hatched out fine. Now had it been a heat spike, the result would not have been as good.
