Side note... I just attempted a humane euthanasia with the dry ice cooler method.... How do I know if they suffered or not? I taped my phone in the cooler so I could watch to see if they panicked or just fell asleep and after watching I just feel traumatized. Any way to know if they suffered? I feel like a terrible person :(

Yes, that's the same group. Cool. I'll see you at the BBQ. (My name is Nikki.)

What did you see in the video?
If they just went to sleep in a relaxed manner, it was humane.

If it looked like they were gasping for breath or panicking(scrambling around trying to escape), the gas was being released too fast.

It didn't look like either really. More like standard exploration... Then one looks at the camera kindof out of it (on his back legs with his front on the walls of the cooler) he stares into the camera breathing kinda heavily for a while (felt like forever but prob like 10 seconds) then he laid down.. It looked like he was heavily breathing but I couldn't see his face. Then he stops :/ I didn't see anything that looked like OMG GET ME OUT! It took about 3 minutes.

I would like to do the most humane thing I can. My breeders are pets that live in my bedroom. I decided to breed strictly so I KNOW they are treated well, and euthanized humanely.

It sounded like they were calm. Exploration can be normal. Heavy breathing can also be normal. Gasping is a bad sign though so as long as you didn't see that, I would say it was done humanely.

It it should take 2-3 mins.
