Re: Your favorite lyrics from a favorite song.
You guys have good taste in music!
"Im the barely living son of a women and man who barely made it-
But we're making it
Taped togethet on borrowed crutches and new starts
We all have the same holes in our hearts
Everything falls apart
At the exact same time it all comes together perfectly for the next step"

Re: Your favorite lyrics from a favorite song.
I do not
understand
what it is
I've done wrong
I'm full of holes
check for pulse
blink your eyes
one for Yes
two for No
I've no idea what you are talking about
I'm trapped inside this body and can't get out.
Kill the sound
that moves the backbone
a pale imitation
for the ages
I've no idea what you are talking about
Your mouth moves only when someones hand's up your #ss.
This song moves me because I feel like somtimes there is a total disconnect between me and the world, and I cannot distinguish if it is my inability to understand you or your inabaility to understand me, but never the less, the result is the same. The song is Body Snatchers by Radiohead. I suggest if you are going to listen to it that you Google the Scotch Mist version as I think it's the best version they have cut. There is one point where Thom Yorke simply does what I can only describe as a primal scream. It's so visceral and authentic.

"I Hold On", by Dierks Bentley, because that's what my wife and I have been doing since we lost our daughter: holding on. How he describes his guitar is how I feel lately; dented, beat all to hell but still holding on to the things that matter: my Faith, my wife and our relationship and my friends and family and going forward from that moment.

Re: Your favorite lyrics from a favorite song.
I listen to kpop almost exclusively and the lyrics to this song are they way I felt when I met Chris and still do (even though it is a song from a guy to a girl). The song is called "Man in Love" by Infinite. (this is the english translation of the song)
I start humming along to love songs that I didn’t like before
All of the melodramas in the world seem like my story
I try to look good when I didn’t before by paying attention to my appearance
I’m acquiring the bitter taste of coffee
Time goes so fast and my heart grows impatient
I imagine you next to me and film a movie of my own
When a man’s in love, he wants to stay by your side
There’s always so much he wants to do for you
When I’m in love, I want to give everything in my life to you
With just one expectation, your heart
When I’m in love
When a man’s in love, when a man’s in love
My cheeks get redder and my head slowly drops
I’m only looking at you as I’m on my way
My confession gushes out as if I’ve been crazily running
When a man’s in love, even if he loses ten to gain one
He gives all he has as if today is the last day so he won’t regret – all I have
Like a young child, I keep laughing for no reason
I control myself by saying that I’m different from others
When a man’s in love, he wants to stay by your side
There’s always so much he wants to do for you
When I’m in love, I want to give everything in my life to you
With just one expectation, your heart
When I’m in love
I can’t escape because I’m in too deep
The letters in my book are dancing as they form your name
As if you’re the main character of the movie, as if you’re the moon in the sky, I keep seeing you
I draw you out every day – my heart will rest only when you come into my arms
I’ll be your resting place that will never cool down
Look carefully – if you feel this, that means he’s fallen for you
If someone gives you a sign like I am right now, then please notice it
When a man’s in love, he wants to stay by your side
There’s always so much he wants to do for you
When I’m in love, I want to give everything in my life to you
With just one expectation, your heart
When I’m in love
When a man’s in love, when a man’s in love
When I’m in love, when I have fallen for you

Re: Your favorite lyrics from a favorite song.
When a man lies he murders some part of the world,
These are the pale deaths which men miscall their lives,
All this I cannot bear to witness any longer,
Cannot the Kingdom of Heaven take me home.

It takes a bold band to try and cover Dio but who wouldn't want to give it a shot? Nobody in their right might expects it to be better.

Re: Your favorite lyrics from a favorite song.
A lot of songs move me for different reasons at different times. This one in particular is soul crushing. The reason is personal, but it's worth breaking the thread rules to maybe introduce you to an awesome band!

Re: Your favorite lyrics from a favorite song.
Children are innocent,
teenagers F'd up in the head,
adults are even more F'd up,
and elderly are like children...
porno for pyros. Not my favorite song but I always liked those lyrics, so true...
we can skin a buck
we can run a trot line
and a country boy can survive...
Hank Williams Jr. What can I say, I'm a Georgia boy. Call me a redneck, recon that I am:)
Gripping the wheel his knuckles went white with desire
the wheels of his mustang exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45
true death
400 horsepower of maximum performance piercing the night
this is black sunshine
White Zombie. I have had two mustangs, both supercharged, both black, and both very fun to drive.
my favorite song ever would probably be Paranoid Android by Radiohead. Not really sure what to make of the lyrics of that song, but it is one I never grow tired of hearing...
baby baby baby ohhhhhh
baby baby baby ohhhhhh
baby baby baby ohhhhhhh
Justin Beiber!
:DJust kidding about the last one, lol:D
