Like Blink, school takes up most of my time, but when I *do* get time I like to:
*read. I do so voraciously. I go through books like most people go through soda.
*create/view/discuss art. Any art, from Picasso to Hirsch, I'm always up for it.
    *role-play. Yeah, I'm a geeker girl, I've played Dungeons and Dragons for a good 5 years. ;)
*do independent research for school, mainly on animal behavior. I'd like to get a research grant in the next few years for one of several hypotheses I have worked up and did preliminary research on. -crosses fingers-
*listen to a lot of music. I'll listen to almost anything, but industrial/darkwave is my first love, and I spend a lot of time in either the Cincinnati or Columbus goth clubs.
*put on a pink marabou crown and pretend I'm a pretty pretty princess.

Herps are my career...so my hobbies now consist of strength training (a new favorite!), reading, cooking & long hair health (goal is to grow it to 48", currently at 36").

I read and fence (with swords, you tards - not pickets). Oh, yes and the military school thing but that's not exactly a hobby. More like a put-me-out-of-my-misery.

^ My mum's hair is almost 60", she's grown it like that since before I was born. It's pretty, but she gets a lot of headaches from the weight, and it's a pain to wash.

Driving .. i love to drive. Anything on four wheels (or more) that i can get behind the wheel of I usually dont pass up the chance. Forklift, car, truck, boat, snowmobile, wave runner/jet ski, golfcart ;) ( ok some of those dont have wheels .. but you get the idea ).

I stay away from driving, I tried to drive stick once and almost ripped the side mirror off a brand new Beetle because I ran into it.
I don't drive stick any more.

Well my sister couldn't get the car out of the drive way when she first started driving stick :) We almost got hit a few times because the nose was in the road, but hey I didn't mind being the crash dummy having to push the car back into the driveway

You shouldn't give up on the stick, Alice. Once you got it, you got it for life (like riding a bike). I prefer standard myself but they are a pain living where I live w/so much traffic. However, ALL Volkswagens MUST be standards (VW's are my favorite make and for some reason believe that they aren't right unless they have a stick!)...
