I think I'm going also in Baltimore right? Going to be a nice little drive from Nj

LOL. I've learned not to fight it. The only thing that has kept my numbers down is the fact that it's way too cold to get anything shipped here right now. Also there haven't been any local expos. Once spring hits my numbers will jump again lol.

It's been in the single digits and below zero here. Right now it's -14 with a wind chill of -33. I am so ready for spring lol.

This started for me a long time ago, like 20ish years. My collection has varied in that time, going from a couple dozen animals down to one boa a few years ago when I was driving truck otr. Then we went to florida in 2010, and while marveling at the number of herps I could find simply running around outside the rented condo, we went somewhere for food and I saw something I hadn't seen before. It was a shop completely devoted to reptiles, something unheard of in my area. It was actually Ben Seigal reptiles, and that place along with one other really jumpstarted my addiction again. I got one ball python and a few other thing and hauled them all back to Michigan. Then I found a local expo, and things got rapidly worse. Came home with something almost every month. Then in 2012 I thought "Breeding bps sounds like fun and it'll be a good way to get some of the morphs I want but can't afford." Now I have 32 bp's, 3 boas, a blood, and a whole pile of lizards and turtles. And I just started my first year breeding. So if you go a little nuts just enjoy it like I do and know your certainly not alone.

OMG!! I looove Ben Siegel Reptiles! That's where I got Calypso. (I have them on my Facebook, and they had what's called a "Slam" deal. Be the first to write slam five times, and you get (whatever herp) for ($whatever price). I won Calypso for $39. :) I live and work very close to where they are. I also saw Medusa, their two-headed milksnake mascot. Those people are so nice, and so helpful!

I can see how they jump-started your herp enthusiasm!! :)

Did I mention I love Ben Siegel Reptiles?? lol
