Of course it pretty much expands to a lot of reptiles really. I also have two Panther Chameleons, several leopard geckos, a blue tongued skink, and three bearded dragons.

To make room for all my reptiles I had to get rid of a dining room, a spare bedroom, all excess furniture in my living room, a chest of drawers in my bedroom, and the closet in the office. But on the plus side every room in my house has a reptile in it!

    I want your life

Right now I'm really limited on space (and money) but I'm already dreaming of getting more ball pythons, a corn snake, eventually a carpet python... maybe some leopard geckos, a bearded dragon, blue tongued skink, a black and white tegu... oops those aren't snakes. But if I get any of these soon it'll probably be a corn.

Yeah, black and white tegu is on my list next. That and blue tree monitors. I need a bigger house first though since both require very large enclosures. I've built my collection up over a decade plus, and it is easy to tell where all my money goes.

I've got a local show coming up February 2nd. I'm telling myself that I'm only going for supplies. (Rats, and Bedding). But if I see something real nice then I may think about it (my mojo needs a woman!) . However I've got 4-5 out of state shows that I'm going to this summer. There is NO way I'm driving that far to not come home with something breathing.

I did the exact same thing. Whoops.

    Somehow :snake:+:snake:=:snake:^10. It's just science.

Definitely. haha Right now my budget (and room available) is keeping me from getting any more, but there's a lot on my list. I'm trying to take it slow, though. I got my ball python a little over 7 years ago, my boa constrictor a little over 2 years ago, and got my garter snake about 3.5 months ago now with another garter coming once the weather warms up. My mom tells all her friends she's not worried about me partying every day while she's gone (she's getting a trucking job), she's more worried about how big the zoo will be when she comes home. lol

I planned ahead. I told everyone at Thanksgiving not to give me presents for Christmas but to be ready to cough up the cash on Feb 15 when the NARBC is going to be in my area. My mom, aunt, and grandmother have promised to go with me (I am so totally taking pictures! Snakes freak them out!), and they have the cash from my other relatives (REALLY big family) and all told I'll have just over a thousand to spend at the NARBC this year. I'm either going to get a killer combo male, or some kind of het clowns. Maybe pastel or lesser. Not sure yet. Of course my game plans always get blown out of the water as soon as I walk in. I could walk out with something sugar, or axanthic, or a purple passion. I've had my eye on one. But I really want an enchi sugar male. Dying to add him to my breeding stock and pair him up with some of my females. I am literally counting down the days!

I don't even pretend that the collection is going to stop growing... it just shifts depending on what projects I have. It's the hardest working here - you see something come in and you go "whelp I need five of these now".

That's exactly how it goes, too, especially with unusual species.

    "WHAT IS THAT?"
"I dunno...some kind of legless lizard."
    "I NEED THAT."
    "...okay. we have a bunch."
    "I want 10, but I guess I'll settle with just 5."
"Do you even know what they're called?"
    "no but I NEED THEM"

and that's the story of how I got limbless skinks. (much research commenced after deciding to get them - I actually ended up writing the caresheet on them commonly used now)

I suffer from "GGMS", aka "gotta get more snakes".
