If only we could get access to there molds and input are on dimensions lol, yeah they could take over easily with more affordable enclosures and would bring in a lot more people into the hobby. But you dont want to take jobs from the guys who already make them either... Catch 22?

I have a relatively small UTH thats set to temp through plastic and substrate just fine with no warping and the humidity seem to be a little high at first but i just drilled more holes in top and top portion of the sides and now is good. You could add soft screen cloth to top or sides pretty easy if you wanted too i will being doing that with one im setting up for lower humidity reptiles

Is your room heated for the ambient temps? Or does the UTH accomplish this?

It would also work for my eastern garters as they don't get too long and like to climb. Unfortunately they're also escape artists - much more so than my BP's - so I'm sure that I would have modify that front door to ensure that it's secure.

I played with one today at target and the front door works by 'lifting' then pulling out. If you just pull, you wouldn't be able to open it without breaking the plastic, I think, and would take a lot of force, I did test it by pulling pretty hard. Which means it would be fairly easy to secure - a small block between the top of the door and the plastic of the tub would work well to secure the door most likely.

Awesome find,Good for babies and yearling ball pythons..as for adults,no good,but still awesome for many other reptiles.
