hey guys. just thought i would give an update on the two eggs. the mom was the bumblebee bred by both my pastel butter and my super pastel lesser. well yesterday was day 56 and i was going crazy with anticipation. i decided not to cut them and came home to this

i had peaked in the egg yesterday and couldnt see the head. what i did see from the body was tough to id. i definitely saw lesser or butter in it. well i left them alone and then took this pic today.

not exactly sure what i have in there, guessing something awesome though. super pastel lesser/butter im guessing
im getting nervous about the other egg because it hasnt pipped yet. at what point should i consider cutting if it doesnt pip on its own? im probably worried about nothing i know. thanks for looking guys

Thanks. First ones out. Super pastel lesser or butter. I'm leaning towards the butter.

Sorry for the crappy pics but I didn't want to stress the little bugger out. I'll get some better ones when they shed

Yes, it actually pipped this morning. I was getting nervous because the other one was out of the egg for a few days. But I'm so happy I saw a head peaking out today. It looks to be either a pastel butter or pastel lesser. So a whiff on the killer Queen I wanted but I have two bees next year for my super pastel lesser. I'll get some pics when he comes out of the egg.

ok guys the other one was out of the egg when i got home tonight so i snapped a few pics and weighed it(havent sexed them yet). there both in 6 qt until they shed out, then ill move them to their own tubs. the super pastel lesser was 68g and the second one which i think is a super pastel, was 48g
