    That came out great! The scale patterns are really defined.

    Next time (or for anyone else interested), try putting all of the paint in a large bowl. Stretch the snake out as much as you can, quickly dip the snake in the paint, and quickly place her on the paper. It's easier than trying to paint the snakes belly, as they can get a little wiggly and get the paint over themselves rather than the paper when you do that.
