i live in an apartment complex in san diego, so there really is no place to take our snakes outside. our complex has about 800-1500 apartments in it, and it is a huge concrete maze. sometimes my g/f will take them on the porch for a bit, but thats it.

Today i tried to take him outside and crawl on the lawn again and he got really scared and it looked like he struck at the grass, i dont think rocky is a out doors snake he would rather crawl on my (fake or foe)mink blanket ;)

LOL. Rocky isn't a nature lover heh? Sounds like he enjoys the pampered indoor high life of warm blankets! LOL. That's cute!

My guys like to go out on nice days. Our larger burms like to be able to do some traveling time and again. Our main concern is neighbors houshold pets, so we keep a good look out on the perimeter. A few years back I had Grandma (Large burmese female) outside and a nosy juvinile red tailed hawk decided to land a few feet from her, needless to say she was unhappy with this intruder but the hawk got the point and flew away. So now I always keep my eyes on the land and the sky.
