If QT is not at all possible, and you only have one 20L tank and two babies, why not just get one of those "aquarium divider" things until you can have separate housing? Each baby snake will have its own "space", which will be smaller with its own hides, water bowl etc....while not the ideal situation, dividing the two halves of the tank is much better than letting them live together....

    2 babies together???
Hey Bobbafet, I wasn't asking your advise on getting another snake. I asked a simple question about housing. It's actually none of your business what I do or get. If you don't wanna answer the question I'm asking stay out of it. My finances aren't an issue. I wanted to see if it was appropriate till I can order another rack. It obviously isn't so I won't. I'm not on this forum to listen to people insult each other or cause drama. I was just asking a very simple couple of questions.

ok so $60, that still ain't nothing.. It shouldn't be a problem cause if you own a pet u have to be ready for vet bills if it comes down to it,so either way if $40-$60 is a huge difference then u have financial trouble, like maybe you do,well I don't,i make just about a Grand a week :) Give or take,it's a great thing,haha..so I don't stress a diff of $20
in a 10 gallon,I'd just use a heat bulb and dome or a heat mat,no diff in hat case..in my 20 gallon I just have a heat lamp in my 29 gallon I have a heat bulb and UTH,depends the situation

Do you not have a thermostat, dimmer, or rheostat to control your heating elements in your personal setups?

Yes there IS a difference in heat bulbs and heat mats. Ball Pythons do better on belly heat for digestion (which they don't necessarily get, but I could go into the biology of it if you're so inclined) rather than being baked by a lamp.

It doesn't depend on the situation, and I'm pretty sure you're snakes are probably dried out. Had a shed yet? You're inexperience is flaring it's ugly head, talking crap about a respected member and giving misinformation. When you get your first few full sheds and perhaps a good setup (why do people put snakes in fish tanks?), we'll let you speak for everyone.

Housing two specimens from different sources is a major quarantine violation...do so at your animals' risk. I just put together several qt tubs for a group I am expecting later this month, each tub costed about $20 after everything was heated and put into it. Running by Home depot and grabbing some 15qt tubs should not be an issue if your finances are good. Hell, buy the tubs and sell the 20-gal, you'll get your money back. Hope that helps.

I actually do +1 the tub idea, it's cheap and efficient.

It's called overcompensating. It's usually a sign of insecurity in some way.
