I've been using android smart phones since the first "droid" came out in 2009. The android OS has come a LONG way since then. Their improvements have put them on par with the iphone and on some levels, they surpass it. With the release of iOS 7, we see a lot of improvements that android has had for a while now.

My issue is that the iphone really has not changed much in terms of UI since it was released in 2007. We've seen some minor features added, and some even copied straight from android.

Don't get me wrong, the Iphone is a great product and I like them a lot myself, but I would never buy one.

    1. No user freedom. You get what you get and that is all. No customization.
    2. No expandable memory. My mom just ran into this problem on her iphone... she is out of storage space for her photos and video and not being very tech savvy, she has no idea what to do.
    3. Small screen. It is just way too small for me. My Galaxy Nexus fits great in my tiny hand and its screen is almost double the size of the iphone.
    4. Removable/replaceable battery. This might not matter to most iphone users, but I like the ability to pull my battery and replace it if needed.

As for android glitches, they are few and far between. I dropped my phone in water a few months ago and it has been a little glitchy since then, but it was probably my fault.

When it comes to the actual phone, the S4 is not my top pick. I will be picking up the note 3 in a couple weeks because I love the S-pen functionality and most of all I love the giant screen! I rarely use my phone for actual phone calls, so the screen real estate is much more valuable to me than how it fits in my hand. I also really like the Moto X and the HTC One. They are all solid phones really. You can't go wrong!

Too add, if you want a bigger battery you can buy a larger grade battery and molded back for the phones. It limits your case selections because they aren't normal, but you can do that.

I also know people who carry a spare fully charged battery with them just in case.

If its between the s4 and 5s then go with the s4 the galaxy note is better but also bigger then the s4. I love my s2 and cant wait to upgrade next month to the s4. I have a few friends who have had nothing but iphones since they came out 1 switched to a galaxy note 2 and the other 2 switched to a galaxy s3
