Let's put it this way, she's either a dark butter, or a light mojave :P

Which is exactly why she needs a Mystic male in her future. :) Either you'll end up with BELs or you'll end up with Mystic Potions - it's a win/win! :gj:

At best, she could be a lesser (which is incredibly similar to butter) from that pairing, but from the looks of her she's unlike any lesser or butter I've ever seen.

so then how do you get a butter? I'm just curious. I'm not sure if I heard the pairing right then but I'm almost positive she's a butter. you don't think?

Butter is a base morph that is very similar to lesser (some argue that they're the same). You get butters from butters. :)

It could be that any of the BEL complex have the ability to have the gun metal grey/blue eyes. It's a neat trait that I don't see too terribly often, makes for a wicked looking snakey that's for sure!

How often are you feeding her? Once a week or once every 5 days? Also, "big mouse" to you could be a normal mouse to me. I like to weigh my snakes/rodents so I know they're getting the 10-15% body weight. Or at least I did in the beginning, now I just eye ball it. Too many snakes to weigh every rat before feeding :P

Get that girl on rats so you don't have to feed 4-5+ mice at a feeding when she's 2kg+! ;)

I've been feeding her every seven days. she's my first Bp so idk how big is too big! lol she's only almost two months so I just don't wanna over feed and then she expects it every time. but the last one she took like a champ so I am not too worried. I am going to get her started on rats once she's big enough. how big do they seem to be when you eyeball it?

I start mine out on rats personally, but I breed rats so I have access to all sizes. As far as eyeballing, you want it as big around as the thickest part of their body.

yeah she started on rats but the place by my house says they only have ones that are good for a bigger Bp
the last mouse I gave her was a bit bigger than that but she got it down and didn't have a huge lump so I figured it was okay.

A good scale is a useful tool in the snake room for measuring both snakes and food. I still measure all of my rats before feeding to make sure they're appropriate sized (10-15% of snake's last empty weight). I also record the rat's weight on my husbandry charts, but I keep track of everything.

    Here's the one that I use: http://www.amazon.com/My-Weigh-7001-...eywords=7001dx.

Looks like a butter/lesser to me, and my butter girl has those metallic like eyes too:
