if it's taking this long without spending a little time every day for customer service (email, phone calls ect...) just think how much longer you would have to wait if he did customer service. he probably not answering so he doesn't have to give anyone a chance to cancel their orders.

Well, its a bummer none the less. I went a different route even though I don't live too far from the cages in question, I liked my experience with the Constrictors NW Pro-Lines.

My boa is livin the dream.

Personally I think you WILL get your cages before you move but I just feel for you and anybody else who is so excited to get new a snake, or a new setup and then ends sitting in limbo.

You deserve an e-mail, text or brief phone call.

I don't have any experience with Boaphile but I ordered an Animal Plastics rack back in February and it took 10 weeks to get to my door. In their defense, they told me manufacture time was 9 weeks up front and answered all of my emails along the way. It's a fabulous rack and was well worth the wait. I would do business with them again. Hope yours turns out as nice!

Just another reason why I'll never purchase from him, nor will I ever recommend his product. My AP rack took a week longer to get here than quoted, but they answered every email and let me know that it would be late. You'd never get that from Jeff. I think it's crazy other forums out there actually defend the guy and his customer service...

My next rack will be Animal Plastics, I'll just plan on the 9 weeks ahead of time.

I wasn't happy with my Ball Room rack. I had to screw it to the wall before I felt it was safe to place my snakes in it. No way in Hell I would stand on it like he does in the ad. It would snap like a twig.

I understand that he is a one man army with his business but....
He really should invest in paying a person a few hours a week to answer emails. He lost my my whole tax refund this year.

I have talked with Ali over the phone and she has responded to every email I sent (even before they had my money)
That goes a long way in our hobby.

Can't wait for my Animal Plastics order to show up. I hope am as happy with the product as I am with their service.

Haha well i learned my lesson. i will give it till the end of the month if i do not hear back from him or not and try to ask for a refund. Just think he really goes through the time to spend 99% of the time trying to dodge his customers. If i do end up getting my money back i will probably go back and keep my business with AP since they have a great customer service. Just really annoying i should not feel like i have to hunt someone down like a crazy nut. I do not have the time all week to devote to calling and such i am basically at a email a day also. I posted on red tail boa sites to try to get his attention like the post i did her really never said anything too rude just saying i ordered back in feb have not received and of course a bunch of people go right to his defense..

My big thing is he should no even offer the email on his website as a option

O well lesson learned :) i will keep you guys posted if i hear anything hopefully i will have it by Christmas this year :taz::banana:

Ha that's what I was thinking.

I also have had good customer service speaking with AP. In the end I went Pro-Line, but as stated Ali was right on it when it came to e-mails.

Everybody has their preference and I'm sure there are good arguments that can be made for any cage. But it's that initial contact and the followup that make a difference.

I think you get enough info from people who own the various products to get an idea about quality and I've not heard anything negative about AP. I can speak for the quality of the Pro-Line cages as I own one.

I have seen some other brands up close and personal and thought the plastic was flimsy and fragile.

The bottom line in this whole thread is the O/P should not have to beg, hat in hand for some type of reply. What if there were exigent circumstances and something changed, or possibly the order would increase??

Sadly, this is not the first thread of this kind I have seen which is why I looked at 2 places for a cage based on service and quality and experiences of others.

I hope it all works out in this case.

I had the same experience with AP this last couple months too. I'm getting my 32q economy rack tomorrow at 10 weeks. Ali emailed me at 8 weeks to let me know they got behind and to tell me when my rack would be here. I have no idea what Jeff's thing against email is. It seems to me it would be easier to take some time every day to deal with emails rather than tell people to call and have to keep answering the phone. Of course, from what I'm reading he doesn't do that anymore either. As people pointed out he's on Youtube and Facebook so he must not be computer illiterate or technophobic so why not do email? I've had good luck with him and I like his products, but every BOI he's got is from when there is a problem, he can't be gotten a hold of. NOT COOL! He eventually will loose a ton of business, but then, maybe he doesn't care.
