A super fire male or 3 gene male with fire in it that's in the 1k range for the first male...most likely it will be a firefly something. Getting the fire gene to stick to the first two female pairings would be sick though, that's actually very similar to the combos i'm shooting for with the next male i am picking up (along the lines of enchibutter). For the second I would saw whatever makes your favorite morph out of X + pinstripe. something with pastel in it could be nice for hitting the supers...but you have tons of options here.

    just my 2cents!

    Have fun.

I'd do things a little differently, I go with a male clown and a male enchi lesser. I'd use the clown the first year and hold back a couple of females from each clutch. Then I'd use the enchi lesser for each year after that until the holdback girls were big enough to breed back to their father.

I agree don't add genes you already have, especially pastel.

Fire Enchi, Fire Mojave, Fire cinnamon, Fire YB, or Fire lesser/fire butter- what they call nuclear- is just unreal! Or you could go vanilla. Vanilla acts much like fire does, but the combos are much less common.

Something like an enchi mojave, or lesser enchi. Cinnamon YB maybe, or a Black Pastel combo.

How about a superstripe and a firefly.

    0.4 morphs - Which male(s) to add?
A firefly is a good one

I was thinking Mojave Firefly at first, but the Fire YB Mojave idea sounds really good too!

That's a nice variety of ladies. I would look for 2-3 gene males, no recessives, with a combo of any of these:
    Black Pastel
    Mojave
    Cinnamon
    Fire
    Yellowbelly
    Champagne
    Mystic
    Sable
    Special
    Specter
    Leopard
    Mahogany

Obviously some of these combos would blow your budget today, but in a year or so prices should come down a bit as more hit the market.

For 2K, I would go for a OD male

Or, if you want two males, a Leopard and a Fire YB would be very powerful to have and come up to less than 2K for both.

    I'm going to say:

    FireBee (Fire, Spider, Pastel)
    Enchi Lesser

You might be stretching it, but you might be able to pick up both of those for $2,000... either way I would say you need some fire in it. Heck you could always throw hypo onto either of those above and everything will be het for hypo as well... Start setting up for some recessive... What are your ideas?
