My situation is a little more complicated than this and I chopped up the full story for length's sake. As I stated to the OP, I was in a unique situation and do not recommend any one else do this. My parents have been incredibly understanding of situations that have been out of my control and have left me under their roof unexpectedly. And I do make my own money and pay them for my share of the bills under their roof and have my own space. It had nothing to do with the responsibility, I assure you. I'm fully grown up :P Again, my circumstances were unique and the full story was not written here for other reasons. I would never recommend going about something without your parents blessings, it is disrespectful and inconsiderate.
