Sigh, one misplaced comma...
It should have said, "Sapphire, Head Mouse Herder."
And of course she's rare. She's a pit and there is a complete lack of blood, guts, mutilated bodies, chewed faces, you know, all that stuff that all pits do.
She hasn't figured out how to pick them up yet, but she's getting closer every cleaning day.

:O Inkdrops = hardcore secksi. Grats on something new and uber cool. :D :gj:
Not really a fan of the coastals but yours there is very nice looking. Good luck with the babies. :)

That big Coastal Female laid 19 eggs that were almost the size of golf balls 2 days ago. Kings are interesting that way. Some lay oblong eggs and some lay round eggs and some lay one way one time and the other the next. I have found though that most of the smaller ones lay the oblong ones at first and then rounder eggs as the snakes grow. It's really pretty neat.

Looking great Wilomn! :gj: :gj:

The black bellies are cool; didn't know that was possible.

OMG I NEEED ONE!!!!!!
I was wanting a Cal King for awhile, but just sort of let it lay. Now that I see those inkdrops, I know I need one. Not a want, a need! :D
When do you think some might be available/? :please: ;)
I'm in the middle of Cal King territory too. When I'm out at work (I'm a biologist) I periodically see them. Usually see the coastal phase (with varying color... some more brown than black, some more yellow than white), but once I saw a striped one.

They're just starting to shed now, so as soon as they eat a couple of times they'll be ready to go. If you're experienced and can't wait, shoot me an email and we can probably work something out sooner. The clutch from the sister of this clutches Mother is just finishing up their hatch and they're pretty neat too.
