    :ooooooo

I mean, it's a lot, but for a snake that's pretty visual and not just a 'maybe', it might be worthwhile even just as a cool pet.......

    oh crap :D

THANK YOU for the link : some of them: http://www.ms-reptilien.de/index.php..._15_16_774_457

I sure wish I could read German (lol). Would be nice to see what looks to be some good detail on each snake. I see a couple that are just TOO cool !

OK : added question... I see a cost of 120,00 EURO. Exchange rate is 1 euro = $1.29 . So, are we talking that the snake is $15,480.00 USD ?

no its just that depending on the language, "." and "," are often exchanged in numbers. so a million dollars is: 1,000,000.00 and a million Euros: 1.000.000,00

so the snake in question is 154 dollars.

Almost sad to hear the good news....because $154 is much more within reach compared to $15,400.00 ! Some of the characteristics look like they'd be exciting to grow out and prove. I will control myself for now and deal with the cluch I should get in the next day or so and then the other 2 soon. I've saved the website and I really appreciate your sharing this good information.

I've never met Brian form BHB but I think he presented pretty good evidence of the homozygous pinstripe in a reptile radio interview so I totally believe it. He said the homozygous pinstripe looks just like a regular pin so no reason to take time for a picture with his collection size. Still would be reassuring to have another one proven eventually.

Completely unfamiliar with the congo, don't even know what it looks like.

I know what you are saying about the Daddy but in a way it's almost no morph at all. I guess you could say that normal for most genes is dominant in the same way. It's a really odd allele in that as best I can tell it does nothing in het or homozygous with the normal allele but does some pretty cool things with other mutant alleles of the same gene. I read an interesting article about a 9 allele color complex in deer mice and the case it makes for incremental evolution but maybe it and the lesser complex say more about the mechanism for mutation prone genes.
