Like its already been said, I will run multiply males in with a female if I am not trying to make hets. We made dbl het albino pieds last year and dbl het hypo pieds. The females never got CLOSE to other males, lol. But I didnt mind putting my pastel female with a superpastel and a blk bee this year!

Inbreeding isn't a big deal with balls or most herps. Im not saying id line breed 10 generations. But one generation won't negatively effect your bps.

Lol true. It just a mental thing. I don't like the idea of doing it. Just because "nothing will happen" doesn't mean you should do it. Like you said, they are your snakes. I'm not against anyone who does it, it's just a preference.

I bred only 1 on 1, but maybe someday I will try to pair few males to one female :)

Tell that to the balls in Africa. Lol
They don't differentiate between relatives and non-relatives. They breed to what's available in the area. And I think its safe to say that I don't think they are a species huge on emigration or immigration....

You can back use a back up male on your recessive projects if he is a Super of a gene not in the recessive male or the female. For example a Ivory as a backup for a Pied. All of they YBs you get are fathered by the Ivory and anything else is fathered by the recessive. Keeps your hets 100%.

Thats exactly what I had to do this season. My enchi male seemed to have no interest in my spider female. Or may he's a regular two pump chump and I missed the lock...guess we'll find out. But thats the fun part!

It all depends on the females and what projects I have. Some females go to more than 1 male others only 1 specific male. So I guess I do both.. :D
