Morph suggestions for someone who doesn't intend to breed
Mojave or lesser is you want to spend around 150-200. A spider is nice around the same price if you do not mind the wobble.

me too one day... if my Bel stuff ever get to the appropriate size! My Mojave female is lingering at 1100 grams -_-. My Butter Female is such a bad eater, she's at 700 grams, maybe a little more. And my Lesser Female she is a monster eater, she is about to hi 900 grams. But she just started a eating strike -_- I hope it doesn't last long :(

But OP if you don't want to buy a desert female, go for a BEL! lol

I don't know how you couldn't go with a desert female for a pet only snake, one of the biggest let downs for the ball python trade was finding out the fertility issues surrounding the females. I've seen 3 gene females for less than 500 bucks. Their issues destroy their monetary value so it works out great for a pet owner to get a really cool looking snake on the cheap.

completely agree! desert anything is just sexy! I saw both pastel deserts and yellow belly desert females at the ohio reptile breeders expo last weekend for $250 each! I almost brought one home just to say I had a desert. lol

i see those too. some are from reputable breeders too, i wonder if they just didn't bother the change the price (if its the same as the males) or they are trying to take advantage of people that don't research
