This happened the other week..
Me (on the phone at work) "nah i am going to let him put his balls in my rack, its pretty big so i have room to spare..."
Then realized how loud i said it.. got a few looks.

Yeah well... When I first got my ball pythons I posted pictures on facebook. Next day at work I asked my coworkers "Hey did you see my balls?"
Response, "Did I see your balls?" in that unsure/weirded out tone
Me, "Yeah, my ball pythons!"

There was a very interesting conversation on a facebook group about balls and snakes too, especially when I said I was getting snakes from a guy that wasn't my husband.... :O :P

I have a couple of shirts from a guy that is no longer in the business but he owned 8ball pythons. the back of the shirt says "Isn't it about time..You got some Balls" yea ware that to a church function and see what happens.

Uuuuughhhhhh I wish I had more snakes so more stuff like this came up in conversation for me! This stuff is gold. Lol

You should have just added to the confusion and tossed in" oh yeah! He's giving me a few baby's to raise and breed!" Lmao

We call our snakes our "kids" or "children" a lot of the time, so at work:

"Our kids are doing great! We think one of them is pregnant! We will have to wait and see who the father was though."
