    Yes, boas do climb if given the chance. And any extra space will be used. Buy the largest cage you can afford and have the space for, get the shelf to go with it, stick a couple strudy branches in there too, and you'll be all set! :gj:

    I have a female BCI who is almost 3 years old. She is in a Boaphile 421d. Last time I weighed/measured her she was around 7 lbs and 5+ feet, but that was a few months ago. For the most part, she is very tame, but I don't even try to hold her at night because she goes into food mode and waits by the cage door.

    This is her a few days ago.
