I work at petco now (not that I need a job I just have a lot of free time and figured I could help some animals and owners) It's more of a "supposed to make them fill it out" kind of thing. The only time I do it is when I know somebody is buying it as a pet, or the manager is standing near. All it is is saying that if within two weeks anything goes wrong we will pay to take it to the vet or replace it Etc. I also have a really good time showing of some of my higher end animals and educating people most are suprised to know that there are kther thigs besides "normals" and that they can get a lot better animals for 1/4 the price lol

Yeah I pretty much know just about everybody that comes in for feeders haha I don't even bother asking them to fill out the form.

The only animals I've purchased at Petco that I didn't have to sign a form for have been crickets and mealworms  It's been a long time since I've gotten anything from there though, dwarf aquatic frogs maybe 4 years ago now? Cute little suckers
