Ok, update. The pro-grade racks are out for now. The bills I had to pay out of my taxes may have been a lot less than I thought, but as it turns out so will the tax return:(. Which just cut my budget by about 800 bucks. What i have left to spend will go towards some DIY racking and getting some of the breeding stock I am looking for. Thanks to everyone who responded, it was appreciated.

And, here is a start on a very cheap rack setup. Please excuse the somewhat poor quality of the shot and the fact that it's sideways. took it with my phone and for some reason that's the way it loaded. Also plz excuse the jumble of wires and T-stat cords, the heating is not done yet by a long shot. And yes I know the Boa is in wayyyyy too small of a tub, she is there due to her old cage still needing a final cleaning after a bout with mites in my collection. Quarantine lesson learned the hard way.

Edit: Ok, apparently I filled out my I-D-10-T form today as I can't figure out how to add the pic here. If anyone's interested, it's in my gallery. Only two pics in there right now anyway, so should be easy to find.

Good luck with the tax thing. There are numerous vids on YouTube on homemade snake racks. Put "snake rack" into the search bar and you get a bunch of choices, (some of them quite good actually). If I were going to make one myself I'd scroll through those vids first.

Here is a thread with instructions on how to post pics here on BP,Net, it seems like sort of a hassle at first read, but it is actually quite easy and not as complicated as it sounds, (however, you need to open a free "Photo Bucket" account, which is also easy). Here's that thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...th-pictures%29.
