    LOL... EDIT means just that. "Edit." If you look at the top right corner of any of your own posts, you'll see not only a "quote" button, but also an "edit" button. You can hit that "edit" button at any time and change your original post. This is often used to fix typoes and sometimes to go back and add a thought that hit you the same instant you hit the "submit" button. LOL It's "good manners" to put a little note on the post saying you've edited it, if you made any significant changes.
