I don't pay enough attention to celebrities to be annoyed with individuals. However, this odd trend where "being famous" is a goal, whether you do anything significant or not, really really really bugs me. One of my little brother's friends just wants to be famous when he grows up, when I asked him what for he didn't have an answer, just wants to be famous. All that reality television, American idol-esque game shows, extreme interest in personal lives for the drama aspect... it's all just sad/frustrating to me

I don't blame you; can we compromise on sending him somewhere he won't have access to electricity so he won't be able to annoy anyone with whom he doesn't have the possibility of direct physical contact?

I feel its kinda redonkulas to be annoyed at celebrities. Sometimes the reason they are celebrities is because people hate them. So by you disliking them, you are refuelling their "famous" tank and actually being counter productive.
