Dobie Gray, Sam Cooke, Matt Mason, Seether, Five Finger Death Punch, Hollywood Undead, Kings of Leon, Blink 182 (mostly their older stuff), Nirvana, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Mumford and Sons, Lee Fields, Bob Seger, The Righteous Brothers, etc. I like pretty much anything, except classical...and even out of that, I like Pachabel's Canon and some Beethoven, lol! Right now I've got Dobie Gray, "Drift Away" going on my iPod.
My favorite band of all time is Volbeat. I got into them back in 2008 by way of an Estonian friend of mine, who sent me the video to one song and it took off from there. Now, on March 7 I get to see them (a Danish band) play at my local hole in the wall club for the second time. :)
I listen to a LOT of old school rock, Van Halen, KISS, Boston, Chicago, etc. But still have my death metals in I Declare War and Disfiguring the Goddess. I listen to the radio a lot, but most of the "radio rock" bands annoy me today. Seether, three days grace, chevelle, etc. I don't like this new slow rock thing they think is so great.
What's better than a song that just pumps you up and makes you finger drum in the car? Paradise City, Kick start My Heart, Disposable Heroes.
