Also...it seems like when its hot out my ring fits nicely (have to turn it to get it off, but only slightly) but when its cold it feels loose. Maybe that is just my imagination? Not sure.

My professional guestimations would be: Its more humid in summer. the humidity causes friction. Also in winter if its cold out your body wont be pumping as much blood to your extremities to try and conserve core temps. Less blood in your fingers would mean theyre not as big.

I don't think humidity has anything to do with it. I live in the desert, it's not that humid :) I think it might be water retention. Your theory about cold makes sense. Biology was never my strong suit.

In this case, I think pregnancy was probably the culprit though (I can't find the dancing banana)

I had no idea there's a carrot too! I think phone posting is limiting my emoticon selection!

Humidity in the air and as in when its hot your body perspires. If you wear gloves your whole hand sweats more, if you wear a ring then just that little area sweats more.

EDIT: and a :pinkele: for Tiffany :p

I'm afraid I wouldn't take the ring that was proffered to me if the customer just licked it. I'd just keep my hands to myself and look at them. Perhaps if you did that a few times, people would think first? Nah, they wouldn't, but it might make you feel better.

I would keep several bottles of germ x prominently displayed on the counters where the rings are kept, and if a customer licked a ring and then offered it to me, I'd germ x first.

Similar grossness: Working a cash register at Hobby Lobby. The customer is a woman of probably 300+ pounds. I tell her the total of her purchase, after which she reaches into her bra, pulls out a sweaty credit card, wipes it on the thigh of her pants and tries to hand it to me. I simply said, "no." I grabbed the credit card reader and stretched it 3 feet from the register to her and let her slide it herself. Ladies it is NOT ok to store s*** in your bra! Us guys don't put our wallets or keys next to our balls for safe keeping. That's what pockets and purses are for.

Someone else mentioned this too. I had no idea so many women do that!

(PS, I don't think you're allowed to talk about balls unless you mean snakes, so if it comes up let's say that's what you meant) :spid0r:

Ok, Ok.. I've used my bra as a pocket before. But not for money...just my cell for a few minutes when I needed both hands. :tears: Oh well. No one touches my cell anyways so *shrug*
