Boku wa taikutsu shi-te imasu!

If I ever have the opportunity to, I'd love to go to Japan. It's the country I want to visit more than any other. It's the birth place of so many cool things. Nintendo. Mario. Ninjas. Samurai. Anime!

If anyone actually wants to practice with me let me know. The only thing I am missing with my self study is someone to bounce things off of.

The only Chinese I remember from Kung Fu iS:

The numbers:

Ei, Ar, San, Su, Wu, Lil, Gi, Ba, Jo, Shr. And I am sure there are some misspellings there.

And we said Shr Fu instead of Sifu. We used what southern Chinese is called.

We called our instructor Ja-Lin which means something like coach.

When we ended class we would say what sounded like: Shay shay Ja-Lin. Ja-Lin zijin. It meant something like "Thanks coach."

My personal favorite Japanese phrase thus far:

Mada mada dane.

I watch this all the time. And every time I do, I want to go to Japan SO BADLY.

That can mean many things. "You still have a ways to go," "No, not yet," "Not good enough", "Still no good", or "You still have lots more to work on"

I have only really heard it in the Prince of Tennis anime. The guy used it as an insult or intimidation in a tennis match.

Yep, that's exactly where I got it from. It was a pretty decent anime once you accepted that the characters had DBZ-esque tennis abilities lol.
