iPhones need longer lasting batteries and I'm hunting up on the iron range if you know where that's at. And sadly nothing yet but lots of shooting out here and I switched stands to my afternoon one and lots of shooting happening like two football fields away across the road so they can come to me when ever now.

And it still gets cold in MO, Mike. The 700 acres is 600 acres of thick woods and 100 of pasture. My dad has 30 head of longhorn cattle and a ridiculous amount of deer. He's been seeing a lot of bucks this week so the pre-rut has arrived and has been seeing the same tall, but narrow 8 behind the cabin on a doe for the past week, not to mention a lot of does/fawns behind the cabin as well. The terrain is very rugged and pretty much all steep ravines and is great for the deer. Where are you hunting at?

I'm hunting up on the iron range in Minnesota it's where I grew up don't live here any more here's what I'm looking at off my stand.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/11/04/be6edudy.jpg
This land is a mixture of heavy woods and swamps both my stands are on the edge of the swamp. An you can see the road in this one ha

More meat hunting gotta feed my self and my parents and my sisters family so we need a few lol. And if you google Makinen Minnesota that's where I'm at right now and I grew up in Gilbert Minnesota. And I love the woods specially since I live in Duluth now I realize how much of a country boy I really am lol but ya it's beautiful up here riding four wheeler thru the woods is one of the funniest things you can do with your pants on around here specially when you get into the mud cuz it has a orange tint to it cuz of all the iron ore in the ground.

I always manage to come back with more squirrels than deer. When I'm out waiting for deer, and those squirrels are chattering in the trees, I just know they are laughing at me...

Haha yes you think that too! I picture them pointing and laughing while telling the deer where I'm at. I never shoot them tho I'd make too much noise in the process. The guys across the road are being drunk ****s since they got a couple deer already today :( idk how trashed people get so lucky.

They should be arrested if they're hunting drunk. Good luck next weekend I guess, man!

I still got tomorrow so hoping its a better day. And far as arresting people for hunting drunk doesn't really happen up here out where I hunt is so far into the back woods the cops never go there, after they finished shooting their fawns (i heard them arguing about the size of two of their deer and from the discription i could piece together they were no bigger then dogs) they started I believe target practicing least I hope that's what it was since they shot a ton of bullets and would hoot and cheer after almost every shot. It wouldn't be so annoying if their cabin wasn't right across the road from stand #2 I mean I for sure understand having a fun time just some people take it too far. Sorry kinda long winded :( I try and type less but I ramble. I hope you have a safe and productive day over there (I think it's morning there now)
